Oceania Management Committee members recently met in Brisbane, Australia to finalise WT Development Funding Agreements for 2025 and to finalise our project reports to WT.
We also met with Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (TPF) dispatch instructors from Korea who were scheduled to provide training programs and cultural exchange programs with the Vanuatu Taekwondo Association, however this was postponed because of the recent earthquakes that occurred in Vanuatu.
This was an important meeting which enabled the OTU management committee to finalise the events calendar for 2025 and beyond and to draft numerous project initiatives we plan to implement for many MNA’s throughout 2025.
The 2025 year is a critical year for development in our region with several significant events being scheduled such as The Presidents cup and the Australian open – 14 – 16 August 2025, which includes Para and poomsae as well as the Oceania championships and Tahiti Open – 19 – 21 September.
